It's always better to disclose everything up front.

this isent necessarily roehl specific, but how do they view company provided training (schneider specificly) as opposed to a cdl school? They only require 20,000 miles to be considered "experienced" which I already have or am very, very close to. Would they likely make me go with one of thier trainers again? Or if i passed a driving test would i be ok? I really like the things i've heard about Roehl, and the 7/3-4 program sounds ALOT better than the 14/2-3 i'm on now. I'll be applying with roehl as soon as i get home, assuming schneider gets me home! (I'm 2 days past my time at home date, and chi-town was the closest they could get me so far.. but 2 days isent that bad compared to other companies i know. And its the first time its happened to me so far... but it still sucks :smt065)

Be careful parking beside a Roehl rookie at the Clive IA FlyingJ. They'll rip a fender off a truck and then Roehl corp will fight you tooth and nail to get the damages paid. Thank god my insurance carrier rode them or I wouldn't have seen as much of the payment as I did.

I've seen drivers from many different companies park like crap at a stop it's not Roehl specific. Plus I was in the insurance business as an adjuster and it's usual practice to pay as little as one can get away with. (I don't necessarily agree with this.)

I wasn't saying tearing off truck hoods and fenders was exclusive to Roehl. But thats who hit me. So far the only one and if it stays that way that will be just FIIIIIIINE by me.

I did come out smelling like a rose when they finally did pay up, cuz my whole hood needed repainted (sun fade). Because it was impossible to match the repair with new paint to the sun fade I got a whole shiny hood paint job.

Did you happen to get the number of that truck that hit ya? (hehe..just kidding) Actually Roehl is very strict on their safety and chances are that driver may not be with them much longer if he has a habit of hitting other trucks. Glad to hear you did ok with the insurance. Sometimes you have to fight to get a fair settlement. They like to start out on the low side so they have somewhere to go to negotiate.

I have to ask my husband Inprogress if the owner is Irish.

bearing in mind that I'm not but a lowly truck driver, but I kinda thought Roehl was German. Whichever country, it definitely looks gaelic.
