I just received notice that I did not meet the mileage requirements for the year to get my annual raise. I was told that I did not accumulate the 107,000 miles necessary to get an annual raise. I asked whose responsibility it is to see that I get the necessary miles, and was given an answer "you will have to talk to your fleet manager". I cant get him to answer the phone, goes straight to voicemail each time, and never a return phone call, just a quallcom message that is very vague, at best. I stay out 2 weeks at a time and lately have only been home for 34-40 hrs. on weekends so I can make a living. I am getting 2100-2400 miles per week now, but there are also weeks that I get 1700 or so. The above post is correct. If you are happy with the scraps left over from the 7/7 -7/4-7/3 fleets then you will gain good experience. You will not make the money they advertise and bonuses are very, very difficult to achieve. (I have been there 14 months and have received a coupon for a MPG jacket, nothing more) Others may defend Roehl because they are on the preferred mileage fleets, or they compensate their income by training students. (The trainer pay has also been reduced as of this quarter). However, if you rely soley on mileage pay you may be disappointed in Roehl. I am still with them for now, but I am seeking other employment as I type this and hope to end my tenure with Roehl very soon. I hope to do so in an amicable manner. Oh, and I have read posts in here about Roehl drivers salary for the year, and they are a stretch. I spoke with a driver in Braselton Ga. at the illustrious Pilot and he told me he was on pace to make 50,000 this year and he had one year experience running southeast regional. Lets do some math. If he got his annual raise he is at .34/mile. 50,000 dollars at .34/mile comes to just over 147000 miles per year or 2881 for 51 weeks with one week off for vacation. He told me he doesnt get bonuses, so we will assume that all he gets is mileage. If I continue at the pace I am on I will make 36400 this year. (I have had 5 good months, over 10000/month.) 36400 is not a bad living, but we can do better elsewhere. No slams here. I got my year experience and learned about smoke and mirrors in this industry. I'll take my lessons and go to the next pipe dream.

I'd still go with Roehl, but I'd definitely be on the lookout for some of these problems you guys are talking about here. I say this because I've worked for SwiftQuit in the past. I know what a bad company is like and know that Roehl can't possibly be that bad. At least not yet, anyway.

hey Keith and homeboy
Could you tell at least me what division you drive? I'm looking into this company. I'm also retired military so doing the split weeks isn't a problem but would like to go the National thing for one year. Are you both Reginal drivers or were I should say. -
I just wanted to say i love your signature.
Although I'd prefer it to say The American GI signs up to KILL for you. -

The saying above is so very true as well.
Thanks again Perry -
Just the way I took it. Maybe I look for to much good when it's not there who knows. -
Just someone complimenting someone else, try it.
Take a chill pill. Just stay away from the baned list.
