Considering pay, home time, employee treatment, miles given, and other factors which trucking company is better between Roehl and Schneider?

seen a roehl truck last night with a lot of advertisement on it saying the grass is greener here.....if it really was they wouldn't have to spend all that money on advertisement ...

The comparison will never be an objective one, only subjective, as what makes one company better for one person may be the deal breaker for another. I would live on each companies website for a bit, talk to their recruiters (taking everything with a grain of salt) and read through some excellent threads on TTR for each company. Only then, young padwan, will you have the knowledge you seek....

Not to mention if also depends upon which type of job you're hired for and their area they haul to. If you're doing otr then you can not expect to be home that often. Dedicated depends upon the account (I know both companies have dedicated runs.).

As Five-0 said, it isn't exactly a black and white question. What works for us may not work for you.

I will say this, seems like any company that advertises they are hiring on the backs of their equipment (or anywhere else on their equipment) wouldn't be advertising if they could keep hold of drivers. Doesn't mean they are a bad company, but it's something to think about. (SNI also advertises in their trailers.)

    Bottom line? DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

start somewhere that will at least let their non-trucks run 65 mph.you'll remember this post and thank me later. for that matter, shoot for the stars and go for a 70 mph smaller outfit. You'll want to dance at weddings for that advice.

I don't disagree with you there. But don't let that be your only factor. Even at a company that lets you run any speed you please, is it worth it of they treat you like crap?

(Not pointed at any carrier in particular. I don't know enough about how roehl treats their drivers. Just making a point.)
