Why is it Roehl won't take someone from North Carolina into their school? Do they not have enough runs in the southeast area? What's the deal?

Don't know if this is the reason or not, but many companies won't hire if you live East of I-95.
Have you looked at other company sponsored schools; there's some pretty good ones. -
I have but this one seems to have some of the best home time from what I could see? Knight transport is one I'm looking at as well.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Goodwill Industries in North Carolina pays for CDL school; free to you. The information is somewhere in their website.
More to look at:
Southern Refrigerated Transport : they furnish a bus ticket, free hotel room and 3 meals a day.
Swift - has terminals in North Carolina.
Millis Transfer - runs Eastern half of USA.
Midwest-Coast Transport -
Thanks! I will check out goodwill. With swift, I'm worried about not getting enough home time. For example, don't want to be out 28 days with only 2 home.

Other good hometime companies if you live in NC:
Jordan Carriers - Weekends home
Cargo Transporters
CT Transportation - weekends home
Builders Transportation Co.- Weekends home
TMC
May be more with good home time, depending on your location.
