Roll off truck for a new driver? Whats it like?

Thats why im not excited anymore. I learned the hard way...well not really. But learning for free isnt really a loss.....people dont pay you for what you dont know. I was smart enough not register business number and tax number till they thought I was ready....then when they let me go on my own I bent them over backwards sort of. That was their plan for me, dont know how you can be a self employed if they own the truck pay fuel tell me when and where to work. I invoice them, charge them harmonized sales, pay pension, my own workers compensation, pay canada revenue agency, pay provicial and federal taxes, pay back government harmonizeed sales tax they paid me, run around the bank with a buisness license, transfer money from one account to another or pay a bookeeper. And be on call day and night. Drop everything and run to work when they call me......did they really think I a new driver is that dumb?

Boss finally returned my call told me to wake up..come tomorrow 7am to train.

He never did actually tell me to come back .... He just jumped out of truck and went to a meeting.

I know i would have to flick up the switch to go to 5 and down to go 4, dunno what side switch is for

I need an idea of what to do, watching him for 5 hours made it look easy... But I know thats going to be a different story once I get in the seat
