Location has prob been driven by many who will concur it's a poorly setup area of the highway. If unfamiliar with the road you approch it east bound going up a slight hill with a steep hill 6% sign for the down side. Not knowing people just get ready for a hill. Once going down the hill there is a Stop Light Ahead and Sharp Corner sign.
Pretty sure he just ended up taking the corner too fast, although just a guess.
Few years ago a truck went straight through the traffic lights and into a swamp.
