I am not a driver but my SO is a new driver and I'm going to be a passenger. I have heard that rolling your clothes when packing for the road helps reduce wrinkles and allows you to pack more clothes. Is this true and if it is, is there a special way to roll them?

Its supposed to prevent creases from the folds. Now with towels and things like that, you can make them take up less space when rolling them.
He should have some kind of a small closet in the truck too, so you could hang things on hangers also. -
Don't count on it. Most trainers I know keep the closet to themselves.

The army teaches you how to roll. They will look better and you have more room to pack. -

Thanks for the info and the advice guys. I know that space is at a premium in the sleeper so I need all of the tips and advice I can get from people with experience.

Also for things you don't care about getting wrinkled you can use a ziplock type of bag, and squeeze out the air to make more room too.

No thanks! I think I'll just skip the military for right now, unless you consider an army of truckers lighting up the highway!
