Rookie looking for some sage advice...

Try browsing the threads in 'Discuss your favorite trucking company'. There is a lot of information on quite a few companies in there.

One tip I will suggest is that you figure out what is important to you - hometime, regional vs OTR, health insurance, etc - and make sure you research the company websites as well as here. Good luck to you, and keep us posted on how things go.

I'm sure there will probably be some drivers popping in here to make a few suggestions on companies to check out and to stay away from.

 

check out maverick if you like flatbed....good startn' place, attempt to get u home weekends, pay is good, .....read threads on them first.
