Rookie mistake or common mistake?

    So I'm treating a pretty good burn on a couple of my fingers tonight after grabbing my bar off the trailer deck, which had been baking in the Florida sun for a few hours. I had the first strap tight by the time I realized how bad it was burning my hands! :biggrin_25516:

    Rookie mistake,I always wear gloves,helps protect the hands , and help keep door handle and steering wheel clean.

    well I had my gloves on but they are well worn and a couple fingertips are out

    always keep back up gloves on the truck, the sun and other elements can be brutal

    Wait until summer in the Arizona sun. That kind of heat will make you leave flesh on the bar.

    TX last summer,think I even melted a little bit off the bottom of my boots.

    Have to watch what your loading / unloading as well , see drivers jump up to tarp and realize that the LOAD is HOT:biggrin_2556:
