Rookie needs help understanding what ETA and PTA is !

    Thanks for the replies guys. I kept getting in trouble for putting ETA and PTA as the same date and time. I didn't know what PTA was. Thanks for letting me know.

    im in Alabama right now stuck on the 20 and its traffic.

    Depends who you work for. Most companies ETA = Expected Time of Arrival. I know of one company that uses that to mean Expected Time of Availability.

    Almost all companies use PTA to mean Planned Time of Availability, meaning when you will be ready to roll for the next load.
