What s even worse for this driver, not only a DOT Recordable on 1st trip, totaling out a brand new truck, but their health insurance hasn t kicked in with Schneider if they get their insurance there

Many incidents have proven ELD's or the HOS do not make a driver safe.
Could you imagine the adrenaline kick that driver was on. First trip, brand new truck.
I probably wouldn't have been able to sleep for a day prior to leaving.

Fell asleep so it seems to suggest they put him on an overnight run to start. Which if true , is ####ing stupid on the planners/90 day dbl part.mindes, LtlAnonymous, Vic Firth and 3 others Thank this. -

Another thing I notice too that there are several truck stops in that area, along with a rest area within 20 miles prior to that crash. Kenly was only 17-18 miles back, as well as a rest area 10 miles back
