have your trainer check your next batch of paperwork, after making sure its correct. Copy It! now you have a cheet sheet ! do that with all the different types you fill out. read them over and over . Good luck !

Exactly what paperwork are you referring to?
During training your trainer should be on top of you "training you" to do everything required.
When I was in training I would forgot to change my duty status, send this macro or that macro, filling out trip envelopes properly etc etc. I remember thinking how am I gonna remember all of this. Over time it just becomes second nature. Now when I fill out trip envelopes I think back and laugh about how I thought I was going to screw something up. Now sending the proper macros and changing duty status is just second nature.
Your trainer should be on top of you and ensuring that you are doing everything werner requires every day. Over time it will just come natural -
Also a good trainer should be available after you get out of training to help you via cell phone. I can't count h9w many times I called mine the 1st few weeks I was on my own not because I didn't know how to do something just because I wasn't 100% sure and needed confirmation

Make a check list. Then follow list...

Since the only paperwork you will ever really have to do at werner is a trip envelope ,take a blank one and write notes in the boxes what is needed in each, simple as that. Make sure he shows you how to fill out a transcheck also. In 7 yrs at werner ive had to write about 20 so its not something you will do often but it can be confusing the 1st couple times.

The paper work is basic I think. What test are you referring to?One thing you should start doing is taking notes.Hard to remember everything without notes at first. Also make yourself a sample or copy of the paperwork to refer back to.Then from now on you do all the paperwork and look back at the sample.By the time you get your own trk you'll do all the paperwork like a pro.I know paper work can be more challenging then driving but once you get the hang of it,its pretty much routine.

The thing with training.... I did somethings better once I got out on my own... like, the qualcomm and paperwork... in training I felt like I wasnt gonna get the qualcomm and paper work down.. but, once I got out on my own I got my own system and it worked.... I still dont know all the macros and have to scroll through them..
What works for me.. is
1. I wrote out my own cheat sheet... check list...
2. I have a medium size note book that iwrite down my load info .. i put the day and date on the top, then i put the trip number on the left side and then tne trailer and license plate on the right side
Then the po number on the next line in the middle
Then I put the reciever info skip down a few lines and the stops or consignee..
I use one page per load and at the bottom left I make a squar... when I am finished and have sent the trip pack I put one line in the box. / then when I get paid for that trip I put another line.. so if a box has one line the trip pack was scanned or sent.. an X means I got paid for it alreadypattyj Thanks this. -
I would take step by step notes and go over them. Always keep them with you for reference.

While training I worked up a very detailed list for the entire trip.
Minute details like:
