This one’s a little off the beaten path for me so I’m reaching out for suggestions if anyone is familiar with the area.
Destination is Brewster, WA.
I’m currently in Missoula, MT.
Not keen on following gps directions..I’m heavy too.
Routing advice needed in Washington state.

I took 2 over to Spokane a couple weeks ago. Beautiful drive, then 90.
Pretty sure this was my route. -
I-90 to Spokane. #2 west to Wilbur. Follow 21 to 174 and 17. you go by Grand Coulee and Joseph dams and come out at Hwy 97 a few miles north of Brewster. I ran a good part of that route running Kelowna, BC to Spokane. I went east on 155 from Omak to Grand Coulee, you would continue on 174 from Grand Coulee to Hwy 97. It’s a lot of 2lane but good running.tscottme, Big Road Skateboard and Concorde Thank this.

What @MLC Adventures said, and he even gave you a map.Concorde Thanks this.

Thanks for your help, you put my worried mind at ease
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
If you go thru Grand Coulee you’ll drop down to and come up away from the river faster (steeper). Going thru Coulee City is more gradual running.
D.Tibbitt, kranky1, Big Road Skateboard and 1 other person Thank this. -
I probably should have said through Coulee City on 174 rather than mention the dam. If he passed the dam I got him lost and onto 155 on his way to Omak instead of on 174 to where he wants to go.Concorde Thanks this.

Thanks everyone.
Was a sketchy trip up there this morning in crazy dense fog but I made it. Delivered to an apple farm and went empty back down to Spokane.
That Grand Coulee dam is something to see. Supposedly one of the largest concrete structures in the world.The_vett, Big Road Skateboard, Ffx95 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Once the fog burned off I hope you got to enjoy your ride through the Washington countryside a bit.The_vett and Big Road Skateboard Thank this.

Hauling a load of dirt (special dirt) out of Quincy, WA heading to Mexico, MO now.The_vett Thanks this.
