Routing help from Frederick, MD to Sebring, FL.

    The direct route would have him dealing with 270, AND the froot loop, AND 95 in northern VA.

    OP can do as he likes of course, but to me that’s worth avoiding.

    Your right, I’ll probably avoid 270 and 95 around DC. Never a great ride.

    Looking at the atlas, how would I95 to I10 west to 301 south to Ocala. Pick up 27 out of Ocala and run all the way to Sebring? Not too familiar with Ocala or those roads.

    I live in Ocala, you don’t want to run 27 all the way out of Ocala. Use the turnpike south, go 429 south to 4 west, 2nd exit is 27 south. You avoid leesburg, clermont, all those hassles. You’ll still deal with Haines city, lake wales, and Avon park but it’s not bad, Avon park is the worst part of that travel.
