    I'm in Salt Lake City ut and will be headed to flagstaff az what's the best way to get there? Do I have to take the scenic byway (89)

    yep. you have to take the scenic byway. PAGE IS CLOSED. or you can go into page and take the detour there. 60 miles and 2 hours.

    i'm in green river wyoming picking up for phoenix. be going through salt lake myself.

    page may be opened but who knows. kanab has no warning signs to let people know. so i'd take the 89A. just to be safe.

    it was closed 3 weeks ago when i was there.

    if you don't want to take the scenic, just take 15 to 93 in vegas to 40 in kingman, its a bit furthrer but just about an hour longer, if you get paid by the McNally mile you would 40 bucks but its all great road and very fast. 89a is ok just not as fast due to windy roads.....

    The easiest way to get to Flagstaff from SLC is Southwest to PHX, rent a car, then up I-17
