+1. No worries about getting grief from the DOT about kinking or chafing. One winter morning in QC it was so cold I snapped one of those plastic coiled things right in half turning around in the consignee parking lot. I had a repair fittings with me but the plastic was so brittle it was turning to powder when I tried to crimp it. Had to take the line off and bring it into the bunk to splice it.

@Chewy352 I have seen this done too but nobody will convince me that it is a good thing to do. Too much chance of road debris taking them out.

+3. I braided mine with the electric line. I get my feet tangled up in them much less. Those plastic could were always tripping me up.

Heard that called "Cali Rigging", last truck I had came set up like that, didn't have any trouble with road debris, had trouble with the fact that most trucks & trailers aren't set up like that.

Ended up putting quick couplers for the air & another pigtail plug into the bottom of the headache rack & carrying the extra hoses/lines for those times I was pulling a different trailer.

Don't have that set up on my current tractor & not interested in putting it on it either.

I have that setup for the last 7y.Works great if you allways pull the same trailer.Which i do.Lines last longer, they are streched less when making tight turns in small places.Roaddebris is not a problem.
