I've been with them for 7 months and the Tarp pay and the mileage pay is ridiculous. They are going to have to do something pretty quick or I'm OPTing out on them.

That's a good deal! You have to do what makes sense and what makes you happy. I'm waiting to hear back from BTC tomorrow hopefully. I hate Royal is like it is, being the yard is 30 mins from my house but it is what it is.

They have alot of guys looking to leave. To many changes and mostly towards tge bad

The way it is with pay scales on Flatbeds, it's a decent starter company for someone who has never drove before. All companies, whatever line of work your in have they're good and bad points. It's just a matter on what they are expecting in return as a company and you expect as a employee. Royal has some good people, that are passionate about they're job and genuinely care about drivers interest. It is what it is. If you expect anything more get some valued experience and better yourself.

You can do much better with other “starter” flatbed companies.
Beene07 Thanks this. -

Do you still work for royal trucking?

Please do. I'm sure their pay has changed and maybe things are better all across the board. Thanks.
