If you're at the same RPM and the speed is slower it can only be
1. Bad Gauges giving improper reading
2. Slipping clutch
Doesn't matter what the numbers are, if the gauges used to say you were doing 35mph at 1500 rpm and now saying 25 mph at the same rpm (1500) then either the gauges are wrong or the clutch is slipping (unless you changed tire size, gear ratio or transmission, but you didn't report any of those changes).Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
That doesnt seem right . Something is messed up if u are 35 mph in 9th gear on a 10 speed. What is top gear like 50 mph at 1500 rpm ?

How about this.
Take it to a mechanic who has the proper training, maybe a good dealer?
Did the mechanic take it for a ride with you driving and then having him drive while recording the ecm actions?
I may be miserably sick but it seems you leave out something, maybe it is piecing it all together to make sense of it. -
My thoughts are, what ever the engine rpm is it , it is hooked solid thru the clutch, trans, drive shaft and rears. If it went 70 at 1500 Rpm’s then it still does. ECM changes won’t change gearing, unless something changed in the trans or rears, tire size,, it cannot change.
Take it and run it on a dyno they can verify RPM’s and speed.
Caution about taking a deleted truck to a dealer, they may not work on it.
unless someone has changed trans or reads it has to go the same speed at the same rpm and same gear as it always had, sensors or ecm can’t change it. -
15mph is usually around the high end of 5th and the low end of 6th gear on a 10 spd. Gear ratio is going to change things a bit, but not that much in the lower gears.
Can you rev up th motor to 12-1300 rpm next to another cascadia/dd15 doing the same to compare the sound?
