    Even though accidents aren't DOT
Record able. They will not hire you. They will ask companies about your driving record and believe them instead of you, don't waste your time with them. I've been hired on by other companies with no problem at all.

Just out of curiosity, how many other companies did hire you with non DOT accidents? Why didn't you stick with those companies? We're you fired or did you quit? How many non DOT accidents or incidents are we talking about? How long has it been since your last one? Some companies may choose not to hire you based on how many companies you have worked for in recent months or years. The accident thing just gives them a better excuse.

With the pool of drivers looking for jobs today, I’m thinking one’s record better be spotless, if not, the one behind you with no accidents will be hired.

I applied at RTI many years ago and those morons couldn't even read an mvr correctly.
I got a dui in 2000 and my mvr showed the arrest date , the conviction date and the suspension date ...RTI tried to tell me I got 3 duis in 2000 ....idiots .

    Guess what?

ALL ACCIDENTS (not just recordable) within the past 3 years are REQUIRED by LAW to be reported to any inquiries by future employers as part of your safety record, in accordance with FMCSA, 49 CFR 391.23.

So the question still stands: How many ACCIDENTS did you have? (we aren't asking about recordable crashes here) You seem to be lacking in accountability for your own actions by splitting hairs and thinking all the times you backed into someone else, hit a pole, or took someone's hood out at a truck stop don't count against you.
