Rts/fleet one fuel card

Do the cheap fuel stops not lower your mileage? Cheap fuel always does mine

 

I use Acar app to track my mpg for years now. There is no difference in Mpg. In 7 years I had only 1 time low mpg average (5.5 instead of 6.5-7mpg) not sure if due to the wind or fuel. I also had about 5-10 clogged fuel filters (always carry spare in my truck and replace them my self). Ill add that I get 1mpg less in winter, and since I changed tires from 297/75/22.5 to 11R/22.5 I got 1 mpg less on average but I gained 4-5mph speed at the same rpm. Was not a good experiment, lol

 

I haven’t really noticed much of a difference, frankly. Or, I should say, it is hard to tell. There are so many factors involved in MPG’s.

What I am really concerned of is dirty fuel. I think I may have fueled dirty fuel once because my fuel filter got a little dark. I am planning on pointing it with a strong flash light to see it clearly and perhaps even test striping it.

 

Rts has added some smaller vendors and you can now use the fuel card for minor repairs.

I think it's hilarious when anyone asks truckers their location. I rarely know where I am when I wake up in the am fcol . I've been trucking through all 48. Regarding fuel, I need to know what a discount program can do *everywhere*, not at doms"location'.

 

I'm glad I amuse you drreid . I sleep In my bed each night . I run the same interstate each day to the same location . It seems silly to boast about waking up each day not even knowing where you are . Some life you must be living .

 

I find it annoying when I get a location call as well. Hahaha. What I do is open up The Weather Channel app, and it tells me my current location in 3 seconds.

 

Well, it's not boring

 

I haul trash it's anything but boring . I have a lot of fellow drivers I interact with everyday one way or another we're like a little family we help each other out .
