I'm not going to miss Primes bending me over for every penny but I'll certainly miss their sweet fuel discounts.

Well the Sunoco stations that are near me the difference is about $0.06 a gallon.

I am not planning on running as many miles as some others do. So I think nastc would be an additional savings in the end, but when you figure in the additional $600+ I think that RTS will be okay for me.

If you can go out and back on one tank, why don't you pick one place and work your own deal? If they are getting paid X amount through a card, some small owned places will cut the same/better deal for cash.

I did not realize I could do that. I would have to see if I could find a mom-and-pop somewhere near here.

The funny thing is that the Sunoco up on the turnpike with the discount from RTS was $3.32.

I wonder how much less a mom and pop would be? I went to my local Wawa yesterday and I paid $3.30 a gallon for diesel- less than what the Sunoco was with RTS discount.

    Is there cheaper than Wawa?

Do you have the fuelbook app and truckers path? Between the two they pretty much cover any place that you can get a truck and trailer into.

If they had Wawa's here i would be fatter than i am now. First place i go when i go see the mushroom farm.

If there is a private owned station that takes a discount(say RTS)many times you can get the same price or better on a cash/direct bill deal. The card company makes money on the sale also.

I have one truck that purchase's at a small station over there twice a week, they bill me direct for less than my cost+ at Pilot/FJ next door.

TCS for me. I compare with a friend who uses NASTC all the time and they are close. No fees with TCS though, you just have to prefund it.

I use nastc, its $400 a year, $4.25 monthly fee. I don't have to go to any meetings or watch safety videos. I am happy with them, however if I found something better I would leave nastc.
