40 years in a rig! Wow. God bless you. So lets seee, its 2019 now. That means you started driving right around the same time that Convoy came out with Kristopherson and Smokey and the Bandit was a huge hit. Lol. I still like smokey.

Might as well shut it down. The OP has been given some good advice but he doesn't seem interested in taking it.
The thread has degenerated into what reminds me of a bunch of kids bickering in a schoolyard.

I took the advice. Always check your mirrors and surroundings. I guess my sticking point was the employer having me fill out an 'accident' report. In todays days and age, who knows what the chances are of having a form like that follow you around.

    REO6205 Thanks this.

Even experienced drivers can whack a low hanging tree branch. That can happen to anyone.

    Horse ####.

I just got done raising the roof over this very issue after my outfit tried to ding me with a preventable for whacking a low hanging branch on a non-restricted street leaving a residential delivery.

The municipality needs to trim their ####ing trees. End of story.

Nobody has asked how the tree is doing. I hope it’s ok.

I hope you didn’t hit the tree hard enough to “rub som cheap aluminum” off the trailer. I would call that putting a hole in the trailer but I guess I’m old fashion.

Meh. It was some kind of flowering fruit tree. If it was oak, no way it woulda broke. I think they were gonna just cut it down, which the business owners were happy about lol.
