2 1/2 days in Laredo. It rained earlier today and it never got that hot. I had a missing log message, then put on safety hold for it. Turned out wrong driver! Code was one digit off. Then I got a message I was missing one page. I strolled into the Pilot, sent it off. Got a shower there. Good thing too! I had 2 on my card, one had expired. Still have one on my "J" account.

It was cool enough that I cooked outside on my propane camp stove. Spaghetti and turkey Italian sausage. I have enough left overs for 2-3 more meals.

Time to get the heck out of here! Fresh groceries are getting low. Where's Wally World????

    JustSonny and Schmidtrock Thank this.

I have been negligent on keeping up here. I did have lots of time recently to update. My hard drive on my laptop got corrupted. Fixed it for a few days and it puked again. I am home right now.

Getting loaded in Port Neches TX heading to Ashville NC. Was here earlier today and the load I was suppossed to get was going East of Ft. Wayne IN. It cancelled. Hot and muggy!

I delivered in Dayton 70 miles away at Sams DC. Load of soup from Paris TX.

I couldn't find the place last night so it would be easy to find for the AM delivery. GPS told me when I was bumped to the dock I was 15 miles from where I needed to be.:biggrin_25510:
I stopped to ask directions last night and local guy told me it was ok to park in the lot of the grocery store I was at. Another 18 wheeler backed in and dropped his trailer. When I got up and did my pretrip there was a big sign on the fence "NO 18 WHEELER PARKING VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED" :biggrin_25523:

Saw a pickup slam into a straight truck when he was merging onto I 540 in Arkansas. The driver never stopped, didn't realize the pickup hit him!

Been having some decent runs. Picked a load of stuff for retread manufacturing up in Port Neches TX and hauled it to Asheboro NC. 1065 paid loaded miles. Got a preplan for a load out of Maltomeal to KC MO 1000 mi before I unloaded. I had enough hours to do it and would have to start running day to day or do a reset. When I gave my Ecall I got the preplan pulled off me. Then they sent me another one, same shipper less miles. I was pissed. Especially when I saw it didn't deliver until tomorrow. I picked it up Friday. Then I realized it was Portland TN! Close to home! I got a reset, and spending time with my sweetie and her family and the mutts! Went downtown Nashville into lower Broadway with my sister in law and her hubby and did some ##### tonkin and ate at the spaghetti factory.

Today is the 6th hometime is set for the 16th.

Lot lizzards are getting to be a pain in the butt. The TA in Little Rock is a pest hole for those crack head women. One knocked on my door and I just ignored her. I saw one at 8am walking around in her high heals and hot pants with a sequined halter top on.

I had another one knock on my door twice at the TA outside Ashville NC Friday night.

I wonder if a "beware of dog" sign would work?

Haha! I almost stayed there Sat nite. Ended up stopping early at the rest area about 25 miles west. Rolled in yesterday morning for fuel stop and then boogied.

I had a load of parts for Chrysler I picked up in Smyrna TN after delivering the load I got in NC on Friday.

Stayed in North Baltimore OH at the Petro. Nice place! Must have been 40 or more places to park at 10:30 at night!

Bought a digital cooker for $24.95 usually $38-44. Hope to cook some chicke and rice in it soon.

I am sitting in the terminal in Gary. Picked a short run up in Temperance MI and Tcalled it here. Got a 37 mile run to deliver tomorrow. I originally declined it. Then saw it was a live unload. Live unload = not having to chase all over Chicagoland fo 4hrs looking for an empty! Sent a message to my DM that I would take it if they could back it up with a good run.

    So far nothing.

Time to sleep, gotta fight Chicago traffic in the morning.
