So my truck goes 62, and I don't like goin 61, cuz I'm stupid and don't realize that losing one mile every hour is not goin make me late. Opinions on slow trucks passing slow trucks? When is it right? When is it wrong?
If you haven't heard, swift is cranking the fleet up to 65.... which means more wrongfully executed passes. I could see this speed increase being short lived.
Rules of passing?

If swift didn't hire everybody with a pulse and had top knotch training that could ease many minds.

As far as passing another slow truck, PLEASE make sure that there s no traffic around you for a good ways. Therefore, about the time you should ve completed your pass, people can continue on with their day without a 3 or 4 mile backup behind you
Suspect Zero, Highway Sailor, Klleetrucking and 3 others Thank this. -
If u have a Swift truck they are gonna be mad u even tried passing. If u don’t have a CB you won’t even hear the complaining anyways.
RedRover, fargonaz and Trucker61016 Thank this. -
Unless its an rv I wouldn't bother passing in a 62 mph truck.
Bakerman Thanks this. -
At 62mph, you may be able to pass Prime, England, or May Trucking
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Let me guess. CR England? I really try not passing until I check whether I'm heavier or he is. If I'm lighter I'll pass on the upgrade. If I'm heavier I won't try to pass unless I know there's only down grades and no hills to climb. Since I don't really give a rat's ### about those speeding critical events you get from CR's qcomm I blow by 70-72 then resume to leave cruise slowing me down to 65.

This is the funniest and far from the truth thing that I ve read in a very long time
