Absolutely!! When I was active I tried to take the temptations away if I was leaving my truck for things like an overnight in a hotel. Fuel the next morning, try to never leave a loaded trailer. Don't leave valuable things on the catwalk or on a rack. Not easy to do in the case of a flatbed I know. Also get inside the truck and draw the curtains closed. Leaving a tractor and the sleeper can be seen from the outside is a sure giveaway the driver has left. One of my friends today tells his drivers to look at the truck like a thief would.
