I have a question about authority. Can I run temporarily on my friends authority while my app. is pending? And what do we need to do.

I believe you can just "lease on" to his "company" for a period of time. Either trip lease or for 30 days or whatever. You could even lease on "permanently", then cancel when your paperwork comes through.
