34,760lb on the rear axle, already afoul of the California kingpin law, load is heading to California. Will they be lenient by a couple holes and 200 or so pounds over?
Miller Coors refusing to rework the load.

Big Don, free spirited1 and driverdriver Thank this. -
They have no choice they either re/work it or they keep it. The law is on your side in this situation, with both shipper and your company.
By the way king pin tickets in CA are very costly.
I remember reading a post awhile back, CA popped him for two holes. Over $1500 citation.MACK E-6, RustyChops41, 48Packard and 2 others Thank this. -
Did you scale it with it being CA legal, or where the tandems are in the picture?
Whatever, you need to scale it at legal settings so they know exactly how much over you are. -
I run mostly in Cali. You probably would slide with the 2 hundred over, they'll hammer you though, if you're caught on being over 40'.
Mike2633 Thanks this. -
While I have never pulled these loads. I do have a number of coworkers and others that do. they always have legal loads. If not, it gets fixed before they leave. Sort of end of story.
Tell shipper load needs rework to make legal, send in to dispatch that load is not legal and needs rework to make it so. If shipper says no reworking load to make legal, take it as is. send that to dispatch as well. Next ask shipper where they want the trailer parked, because you will not be taking it as it is and or until you get a decision from your company in writing directing you to haul an unlawful load.
My guess it will get fixed before that happens.
Remember to be polite during all of this. the kill with kindness thing.Broke Down 69, Big Don and Lepton1 Thank this. -
