Running 315's for steers

    1° Agreed,putting the tanks forward might be a good and cost effective way to shift weight.

    2°Might want to explain that one a little more.Because going to a bigger spread will actually REDUCE weight on the steeraxle.Last axle cannot move backwards so that means if you go to a bigger spread you have to move the first drive forward which will reduce the weight on the steeraxle which is what the OP doesn't want.

    OP stated that the rear of the truck dips, and that's what makes the front "feel" light. My thought was that perhaps with a Canadian spread, the rear would be less likely to dip. The problem that we would encounter would be with that 5th wheel slide again and that Stepdeck. The Canadian spread wouldn't work well with his setup, because he already can't get the slide up far enough and the center of the drives would be farther up front. So no, it wouldn't work, just serve to add more problems.

    Jack Jessee drove a 3 axle T800 in season three of IRT that had to be over 300 inch wb. I'm going to have to review and see his setup.
