I just put Yokohamas on mine... thanks for making me second guess my purchase... haha
-
@Cottonmouth85 i hope they weren't the RY617 that you just put on. I haven't seen any of those wear nicely after the first 30k miles or so. The only thing that might slow it down is regularly swapping side to side. Good luck though!
If you run Chinese tires on the trailer I have seen Samson perform very well for the price. Hankook wears very well too but they are a bit higher. They are made in Korea.Cottonmouth85 Thanks this. -

I run Hankook I pike snows on my winter cars, man do they bite in the snow,I can handle, big snowfall easily, grip, wear, and puncture resistance, was excellent.
After buying a few sets, and having great results..I just keep buying them..cant be beat,at their price point. -
They're 617.
But I do rotate regularly so we'll see. -
I just wasted $1,300 on a set of Continental steers. The left is separated in two spots. Im going with the mid price Yoke next time. No cheap Chinese junk but never wasting money on a name like Continental or Good for a Year.

Been running Chinese for years. No problems at all. $220 vs $500. HELL YA!!!
jstephens Thanks this. -
I've also worn out a set of Double Coin drives, and have some on my trailer right now. Tough tires, but funny wear on the RLB 400's under high torque, and terrible rolling resistance.
