Running in Heavy Snow Regions Worth It?

Unless you can stay south of I-20, you will hit snow at some point. I would much rather be in a northern state when the snow flies. You will have to deal with more snow, but the south just doesn't have the equipment to handle it and in my experience, it is worse than being up north when it hits.
