Geez I forgot how much I hate California. The drive out here from the Midwest takes forever, then I forgot about the 55 mph speed limit. Then the trashy streets and the homeless population. Very sad and miserable trip. I can think of many places I’d rather drive. Although this trip to and fro is paying 12,500 I’m not so sure it’s worth it.

I drive California often. Pretty much as long as you stay under 65, they leave you alone. I usually run 61 to 63, and push it up to 65 (my governed limit) when I get out of the righthand lane. And, I definitely agree about road conditions. Hard to believe that a State as immersed in car culture has such crappy roads.

Technically in the desert you can do 62 mph without issue...its only around the cities like LA where you better stick to that 55 limit....

The animal rights activists & Commiefornia libtard government got It's Proposition 12 through.. it went in to effect Jan 1 2022 ..
It basically states that no meat is allow into that craphole state
That was raised or bred in pens or cages unless they are a certain size which basically not practical if you are a large livestock producer.. it effected mostly chicken, pork and veil producers.. 80% of the pork produced in Iowa went to that craphole state because alot went to the ports to go to China .. that meat is now not allowed to enter that state even.. Iowa is the 2nd largest pork production state in the USA..
So as far as I and most everybody envolved in Agricultural in the state are concerned
We hope that state starves.. and they can choke on Sea Weed and plant based artificial meat if they can grown plants in that drought stricken cesspool

Ya Im not a cruise control kinda driver but I set the cruise for 63 and went for it. So far so good. No speeding tickets. Lol. Now it’s my husbands turn to drive so we see what happens. The blessing is when I wake up in the morning no more Cali for me. It’s a poorly ran state and it shows.

Most of my drivers love to run Midwest to CA and back. California isnt fun but the rest of the trip is especially if you can run 75 mph. A couple do say, been there done that, no thanks. lol

I had a driver turn a round trip between Christmas and New year. Pulled in close to $2700 gross on his check.

As a team I would probably try to learn to love it. You could do a turn to CA and back, then maybe a turn to Phoenix and back all in a week if you busted ###. Would likely gross near 25k.
