Company skirts the issue or tells me "Remove fuse and tell them you've broken down" Pffft-
Even the best trip planning wont help sometimes...
    What do YOU do?

If a shipper doesn't want you there you have no option but to leave try to find a parking lot close by or even a side street near the shipper if cops come and tell you to move you have no choice but to just get their name and possibly badge number and move on. I never really ran into this problem because I didn't care about hos rules I wanted to be home every night so I would drive however long it took to get home unless I was completely exhausted then I got a local gig and don't need to worry about ever being home

Remove the fuse.....was it your company that told you to do that, or the shipper? If it was the company you work for, " FIND ANOTHER JOB, QUIKLY"! If it is the shipper, inform safety about it.
That should be a huge red flag for you when someone tells you that. Good luck

Here is the question, are you running out of hrs as soon as you get there or while you are getting loaded? If you are running out of hrs as soon as you get there why not just stop down the road take a 10 and load after? If you are running out of hrs while you are there then hopefully its long enough to do a split sleeper and you have some drive time left.

like fisher guy said. if u have elogs, hit u arrive once u hit the property of the shipper or consigne. then go to line 2 while u drive around or waiting to get live loaded. that what i do. so if i sit there long enough i can do a split break with my hours.
