I've had my my CDL since 03/25/13, i should be receiving my Hazmat and TWIC card in about 2 weeks, i already have tank and doubles.
I've had no luck finding local work or even regional work out of Tampa, FL.

At this point the only companies that will take me are bottom feeders like CRST.
I dont really want to do OTR so i figured i'd ask which companies out in the oilfields of Texas should i contact to possibly land a good paying position with my lack of experience.

Note i am 21 years old so thats another factor that comes into play for insurance purposes.
    Thank you for your time.

    MJ1657 Thanks this.

people want experience. and apparently your unwilling to do your dues for that experience.

no one wants a driver that hasn't learned how to drive a truck yet. or isn't old enough yet.

your going to have a tuff time finding something.

Pioneer Natural Resources, they're out of Irving TX. Worked for them for nine yrs. in southern Co. Moved to ID in 09. Great company, get on the frac crew or coil tubing unit the pay is alot better than water haulers. Google their web site. Only other advice I have is that in the patch it's better to work for the oil company, the contractors or subs.
