Running teams - does your 70 hour rule still apply?

    yeah i pretty much didnt even pay attention to what he was saying since it pertained to trainers. Logs can be very confusing at times, but the basics are simple. Its the managing it properly thats the tricky part.

    Not hard at all, jst log it as you do it. Been doing that for years. BTW, if you go to Conway, I believe they are on e-logs, which means less for you to worry about.

    Of course you can put three drivers in the same truck. Everyone drives for 8 hours and you never have to do a reset.

    You're in school. When the instructor went over logs for the first day and they said you can drive 11 hours, work a max of 14 and up to 70 in an 8 day period, did they ever say the words "unless you're a team driver"? No, they didn't. If there was some special exception for teams, it would have been covered in class.

    You have to show 15min a day on duty for a pretrip. You can pretty much just flag a fuel stop if its under 50gal or so. They will check this though! I am very surprised you haven't been caught for it yet! I would suggest you change the way you log before it costs you $$$ and CSA points!
