Been running on paper logs for Intrastate and Exempt Cargo, but will soon be running Interstate and have to run an ELD. Based on my understanding of the new laws applicable in December, this will have to be of the sort that plugs in to the ECM (OBD2) port. Unfortunately, this is also where my monitor system plugs in that reads all of my EGT, Boost Pressure, ETC. Does anyone here run both, and if so, how does it work?

    Thanks,

    JD

Just get a splitter, it just plugs in and gives you two ends instead of one.

The eld plugs are made so you can plug into them.
    No worries

Splitter plug. The F550 I used to drive had one installed for the ELD so that we wouldn't have the ELD cable in the way.
