Well as you all noticed, our original thread in the middle of the night got a pad lock placed on it. Some of our friends were put in time out for being the pacifier bandit and some got banned from the play ground. But, with the vast amount of info that is here for current JCT driver and others that are just curious about JCT, I just believe that we can't let this thread die. So with that said, let's keep this one somewhat clean so it doesn't get the nasty old grey pad lock on it.

I was catching up and was going to ask Jarhead where he was going to in Pottsville Pa. As that's in my backyard and if that's a regular stop that tilts me in JCTs direction.
If there are regular customers in that and Allentown area it might be possible to get through the house under load and/or reset without taking a lot of time off.
That is until I can relocate to the DFW-ish area. I'm really beginning to loathe the NE! To many people and busy bodies per capita that think they know better how to live my life and want to stick the governments gun in my face to prove it.
Not trying to be political at all, just stating how I feel.Last edited by a moderator: Feb 13, 2014

I agree, let's not poke at the mods, since they hold our little discussions here in the palm of their hands. I just couldn't let what Sharpp had started die. I myself was approved with JCT 3 times and backed out twice. The first was April 2012, I backed out due to my wife going on bed rest and didn't want to lose my insurance coverage for her. Plus I found a thread on here that had nothing but negative things to say and got worried, but one person was trying to tell us the truth. I believe it was alanp613. To add insult to injury I caught up with a driver that said the same things that was in that thread. I thought, what a coincidence! So I moved on and stayed where I was at to later find myself talking with my recruiter at JCT again in November the same year. It was something about her that kept her in the back of my mind. Might have been that she called every other week to see how my wife was doing and not when I was on my way to Tulsa. We Talked in November and I decided not go go because of other reasons. I'm absolutely glad that I didn't go, because I had major surgery myself and was out for 8 months. I end up going back to work for an outfit in Corsicana, TX until they had a meeting and said J.B. Hunt was getting my job. I didn't want to work for J.B. and I was tired of being a company driver. I talked to several L/P outfits and the first call I made was to JCT. I went with another company because I couldn't wait for JCT to call, funny thing was that JCT called when I was signing the contract on my truck this other company that shall remain nameless out of Kansas City and has an full-service maintenance program for the life of the lease. Ya, I got suckered in on that one! But I kept JCT on the hook. I'm sooooo glad I did, because after 12 weeks of hell, I threw in the towel for a laundry list of problems. Funny thing is that I saw a driver with a JCT coat on and asked him how he was treated there and got the same answer I got for that driver 1.5 years ago. Then my recruiter said she would have someone call me. Low and behold, it was Terry. He answered my questions with was in line with what Sharpp wrote and a person I worked with at that nameless company said he worked at JCT and gave the answers I need. I guess this is where I was to be from the beginning. Now that I'm here, I wish that I would have started sooner then later, but I guess things happen for a reason. My recruiter did say she was going to get me this time and she was right, she got me! And I'm not going anywhere!
With that Said, Let's all keep this thread alive. It sure helped me make the best decision that I've made in a long time!
Oh, and if you see Truck L2450D and you have spare time, I need help washing and waxing my chariot!Last edited: Feb 13, 2014

Yeah I was told that if I looked at that KC company I was going to have my tail kicked for being a #########.

I know a sucker is born every second, I just never thought I was that sucker! Sounded good until I found out 6 week in that it was a pool and over the life of the lease I was loosing around 45,000. This might have be my first lease, but even a dummy know in 4 or 5 years you won't spend that much in maintenance. Plus, in 12 weeks time, I did a little over 29000 miles. And the say the have plenty of miles! I felt more like a glorified company driver. Dang shame, owe 1 payment on my car and can't even afford to pay that. Fighting with them now over 185 bucks I was shorted.
When your on 84 and see a JCT truck every 10 to 15 mins going the opposite direction. What does that tell you! -
I've seen a few on the road but never was able to talk to any JCT guys. I've got to get another surgery in a few months and after that I'll be looking to do something
