I have been in and out of the original thread and talking to some drivers on the road. They had a good attitude about the company. I have been considering this move for about 6 months. It will be nice to get away from the "fixed" lease payment model. It will be nice to actually to be able to afford to go home every now and rather than once in a blue moon. I had a look at the settlement calculator on the website and plugged in my numbers for this week and came out almost $300 more in my pocket. And I avg way better than the 6.5mpg that the website use.

You gonna tough it out soldier or get it fixed? Just joking make sure you let Delbert in the shop know via Qc ASAP about that issue so you don't foot the bill.

    Jarhed1964 Thanks this.

Oh I will, trust me. I wish I had more than three hours after first starting the truck to pulling a load. Truck should come out of the gate with everything working imo. Going to probably try to get it done in Charlotte if I can in a reasonable timeframe. Not willing to sit on my kiester waiting for FL to get it sone and not making any money.

    BTW, it's MARINE, not Soldier.

How long do you have to get any mechanical issues taken care of after choosing? Do they need your DD214?

Misread your post Jarhead and thought you were in Charlotte now. Thought I was finally going to sit down and talk with one you guys.

I am not sure how long you have to get mechanical issues fixed. I know when I leased with FFE it was 30 days, but might not be the same under JCT.

Yes. They did need my DD214. But already have it scanned into a pdf file on my computer and emailed it to the recruiter.

how ow long they will continue to repair at no cost really depends on what it is. In many cases you are leasing a used truck, but if the repair in question took time to happen or can be argued that it was preexisting then you have a good case. Main thing is as soon as an issue is realized put it on the Qualcomm so it is documented as to when it was found.
