Chains? Oh ya, those are the metal things that look shiny after a truck wash. My chains are strictly there because the law requires it and they look pretty folded into a nice loop.

Rentals that are super heavy. Pulled one of my usual loads on a rental. Was barely legal on the gross. They are easily 1000 lbs heavier than our trailers.

84 is open all the way to Portland from the 82 split. No chain law all the way across. Besides, you can Wa-14 from 82 to Portland.

So, in part of planning ahead of getting to a truck stop after dark, I reserved me a space at the Pilot in Tumwater, Wa. I get here and all the reserve spots are taken. That kinda of pissed me off. So, I go talk to the manger and he sends his maintenance guy to go find which truck hadn't paid for a spot. I circle the parking lot and the maintenance guy stopped me and told me the guy that was in my spot is moving. Cool. I get back around to park and someone started to back into the space. Before I could get out and say something, the maintenance guy saw it and went and stopped him. The other driver was pissed off because now all the free spaces are full and so is the paid parking.

I have had that happen so many times at the pilot on US 27 in FL. Last time i was at a FJ i was waiting for a shower and the old men were complaining about how FJ had blocked so many for paid parking spots. Then they shifted to how we need to have a truly capitalist society so people can make money. I was LOLing at the irony and they were confused when i pointed it out to them. Hello paid parking is a capitalist world idea. On another note anyone ever deliver to SYSCO in Fremont CALI? im parked on the street Im just curious if they allow early check in.

It's been a while since I've been there. I think you can check in only 30min prior to your appt.

    crxdc Thanks this.
