Which wally are you at? I have been to Pageland before quite a few times pulling dry van. The chick at the gate here is strictly by the book. Would not let me leave withoit a trailer to bobtail home last summer. Lets see what she is like tomorrow.

I topped off at $3.759/gal where I am. About a half mile north of the gate on 601. MAJOR trouble with the efs card though.

Watched the a/c compressor while the engine was running. It doesnt even switch on and engage. And there is some wetness on the clutch as if something was leaking. Going to also try to find the source of the burning rubber smell tomorrow.

Check the belt for the a/c the clutch maybe locking up on you. Oh lucky you for the 3.76 a gallon. Wasn't able to even think about pushing that far. I put in 120.9 gal and that put me under a half a tank. Think I used up all my luck today.

Temple, Texas. The lady at the gate was sweet. The lady at the Window was something else. She gave me bad looks and everything short of breaking out the official sailor's handbook. All I wanted was the unloading agreement signed.

My truck has been at Freightliner since late yesterday morning. 3 times I stood there when service called for a status, three times Freightliner said its apart and w'ere getting ready to put it back together. So at 6pm I walk into Freightliner's service department and ask about it.

"We're waiting on a cam box, the original was damaged"

.... Really... Amazing how the details start coming out when you look someone in the eye and expect an explanation.

I think I'll stroll over there about 8am and park my rear in the service department. My truck isn't a mechanic's retirement plan. :biggrin_25512:

Dam sorry to hear bout your bad luck there at FTL and get back out there rolling down the road. At times you really got to hate dealers for that type of crap.
