Well, it's done. Turned in the truck yesterday and did paperwork, said my goodbyes. Think I'm going to get popped for a drive tire. It was starting to chunk and was 3/32 lower than the other 3 drives. Well 3 just have to wait and see.

I chuckled when i read the voluntary separation notice i filled out. There's a section that says if you're eligible to return. The boxes JCT fills out are: NO, YES, UPON REVIEW, UPON STRONG REVIEW. That last one cracked me up. Got the YES box on mine. Yeah!

Everyone wished me luck and completely understood my reasons for leaving and didn't blame me for leaving.

Back in the motel waiting for my former DM Lisa to take me to airport to get my rental car.
So glad i didn't have to downsize to a couple of suitcases. Have everything except my pillow top mattress in the motel room with me. Gonna load it up in the car, drive to my next gig and be able to stay on the road for a while as i don't need to go home to load up. I'll get my pillow top next time i get to the house.

Did you stop by the house to take out your shelves and take off the flow below?

In actuality, JCT has the trucks spec'd out pretty nice on the Cascadias

    APU
    FRIDGE
    LED HEADLIGHTS
    LEATHER SEATS
    CHROME BEZELS
    AUTO TRANS
SET UP FOR FUEL ECONOMY INSTEAD OF SPEED UP A HILL
Overall, much better setup them most other companies would provide.

    Vic Firth Thanks this.

Because my new gig provided a rental car, i was able to keep everything i needed. Granted, i down sized a lot, which just made me realize that i had waaaaaaay too much crap to begin with. All my stuff that's in those plastic drawers, like clothes, etc, i was able to keep. Tool box, printer, plug in cooler, and so forth. That makes a huge difference when 1st starting out. No need to lose productivity going home during the grace period before 1st truck payment.

    crxdc Thanks this.

The flow below will go into ANY truck. It's adjustable for the minor differences between manufacturers. The only thing i need is the wheel hub bracket. I have the one for the supet singles. I need the dual set up. If i put my current one on, the wheel cover will stick out too much due to the offset difference. Flow below is gonna hook me up at n/c.
