Pulled into TA Santa Rosa at 9am. Wind was brutal. No so bad here in Moriarty. Gonna play a little game and show up at Canyon Dist in Kingman a day early and just play dumb (easy for me).

Found out the hard way that the fuel gauge on this trailer is over 1/4 tank off. The gauge was reading between quarter and half and ran out of fuel while I was putting fuel in the tank. Luckily for me, because I was adding fuel when it quit, most of the priming was done for me and only had to spend 5 minutes getting the rest of the air out if the line. Still made Safeway ontime though.

    HA!!!

Actually, that's true. I made it a habit to "ambush" receivers, and sometimes shippers, by showing up early when I was pulling dry. This is a dry load, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Won't know unless you try though. Just like sales, which I did for WAY too long.

Unloaded at Costco in Mira Loma, it only took 45 mins. I love that place. Got my truck washed and trailer washed out.

Now sitting at Americold in Ontario waiting to get loaded with a load heading to Henningsen Cold Storage in Portland, OR for wednesday morning.

Just sitting here at Safeway and looking over some numbers and it looks like I am already halfway to getting the quarterly safety bonus. Got 14140 miles so far and two months left in the quarter.

I have been working on a spreadsheet that estimates my paycheck and gives me an overview of the year and by quarter. It also gives me an estimated amount in my maintenance fund and estimated remaining balance on the truck.

I will let you know when i have the bugs worked out. I am still have to finish making tabs for the rest of the year and put those formulas into the overview page. I am also making it to where you just plug in your numbers and everything updates itself based on the numbers you put in the boxes.
