I dont think I've ever seen that many trailer tires being bad reported by 1 driver ever. Even when I was at JCT. Shop is seriously slacking. Dont you guys have a "fast lane" to inspect trailers when they hit the yard?

Just the guy at the gate that does a quick walk around of the trailer when you come in the gate.

Catching questionable tires is up to the driver to have the shop inspect them more closely.

Sad. And VERY expensive. I guess the dont mind flushing all that cash down the crapper......and destroying drivers' hos clocks.

Lucky for me I had planned to do an eight hour break there before heading back to Texas.

But I agree that a dedicated "fast lane" for a more detailed trailer inspection could benefit everyone.

Gotta love it when you get to the reciever and start to walk in to check in and they start a fire drill at that exact moment.

That's how it usually ends up, no matter the company. The 4 drivers who happen to be on the yard get to eat like pigs, a long with dispatchers, planners, etc. Everyone else is out earning money to pay for all that food and charcoal.

    CannonballAA and MachoCyclone Thank this.

Also, the food stops flowing after lunch. So, the drivers that get through the yard after that have nothing.

    Jarhed1964 and CannonballAA Thank this.

Well, to be fair, they do get

    "Thanks for all you do"

over the Omnitracs/QC. So, theres that at least.

    MachoCyclone Thanks this.
