Running with JCT, Part Deux

Crap. 1600lbs over on drives and only three holes to work with. Guess Im not leaving for Seattle at 02:00 as planned.

Nah. It happens. They just werent thinking or something. They are only 2.5 miles away so I can get there without tripping the drive line. I seriously doubt I can get it to Seattle before 14:30pm on Thursday though. Might have to relay at the end of my 11 tomorrow if anyone is available in central or northern Kalifornia. This week will definitely suck. Mostly because of that ragged out 52xx trailer and the entire day spent in San Antonio trying to un**** it. Then wasted time today dropping that pig off at Utility and hunting down the only reasonably servicable trailer in the area.

Besides, I cant have a bad hair day. Not enough hair. I'm a buzzcut!

 

Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

 

Im sure it will be. Once I get rolling and get my audiobook in, its all good. Besides, there isnt much more that can go wrong. Wont get tickets (I stay at 60 or below here in Dumb****istan, the trailer runs good with singles, except for that abs wire which I can have fixed along the way, and assuming the offending driver didnt cut it because of a bad abs module, which could delay me longer than a 10hr break, all should be easy running....... unless a bad earthquake closes I5, or Mt St Helens decides to throw another tantrum (it has been swelling lately), or I get hijacked by a band of illegals, etc.....

 

Got my leave home load assignment. Picking up at Pilgrims Pride in Lufkin, Tx at 1800 and going to Wal-Mart DC in Riverside, CA for Saturday.

 

Well got here at wm dc in Paul's valley waiting to get empty and see where I go from here

Chillin in a suite at Harrah's Kansas City. Deliver my load tomorrow in Chillicothe, MO then pick up in Olathe, KS going to Costco in Mira Loma for Monday morning.

On another note Kevin Rutherford from Road Dog on SiriusXm is having his CMC here at Harrah's. There are like 100 trucks in the parking lot. It's cool to see all the upgrades these owner operators do for fuel mileage

Sitting at the Loves in Lordsburg, NM doing a 34. What is sad is the fact that I can do a restart, run out of route through Sapulpa and still have a 2 day cushion on this load. Oh well, no biggie as this trip is for my June 4th settlement. LOL
