But what most people don't realize is that they already have the most powerful fuel savings tool available to them for free. It's called FOOT CONTROL.

What is your reasoning on using JCT as a Bank Account?? Are you incapable of taking that money now n letting it sit in a savings account???

Why anyone would let a company hold there pay for a couple weeks is beyond comprehension...

Most of these guys run between 55-58 mph. I am still not there yet. When I started I was at 65 mph and been going down 1 mph at a time. I am down to 61-62 mph right now. Hoping I can stand 58 mph when get down to that level in the next month. My fuel mileage is above 7 now and when I started it was 5.89 mpg.

1st.....It's simple.when I take my 3 week vacation I still have a paycheck coming and don't worry about being in the hole.

2nd...What is beyond my comprehension is why anyone would turn in more miles than necessary to survive. Why make a $ 900 truck payment when I can make a $300, pocket just as much cash, and not sweat the time off I take. Remember, I have NO intentions of owning this truck.

3rd....you obviously don't understand business management if you question my actions. My business is NEVER in the RED at any point due to not working.

4th ....you don't have to understand my motives or agree with them. Where as you work every week, I dilly dally and take on absolutely no stress on the road because I don't need all that money this moment. I absolutely refuse to work hard ever again.

That's great progress, but still don't understand why it's so hard to run 55 mph. Is it a pride thing cuz everyone passes you by? If so, who cares! They don't pay your bills, you do.

You have no Business Skills at all if you cant see the flaws in your logic... Might want to speak with a financial adviser to be enlightened on how to actually run a business....

As far as me working-It only happens 3 days a week to the tune of about 2k W/O ever leaving the Seattle metro area..... I am the guy going in n out of Charlies Produce while JCT drivers are sitting at the dock/holding area for hours at a time.... Gettin nothin for detention.... Another great business decision on your part....

I'd wait for Vado to fuel. NTS has a nice little restaurant, too.

I can't speak for diabello, but as for me, driving 55 makes 10 seem more like 20.

My mind wanders, leaving open opportunity for disaster.

62 is the slowest I can safely travel. Tried 55 for months and just felt unsafe.

That only happens to me once. If I don't get detention when I'm held up, that shipper goes on my blacklist.

If I wind up sitting longer without a load because of it, I simply realize the truth that I'd have been sitting either way.

Please don't tell tales about your situation. 3 days a week, 2000 miles? Not happening buddy. Not in a metro area, especially Seattle, and not in a 60 mph state.

But if it works for you, congrats. This works extremely well for me. Oh, and business skills? Yeah, I have none at all, especially when I ran a $6 million business with 200 employees at a 70% increase over expected projections. I just "wing" it.
