Charli was supposed to be my DM, but I wound up on Jason's board. When he left, I got put on a rookie DM.

Don't know that that would matter anyway, I get most of my loads directly from the planners or other DM's (swaps).

Well it looks like my time with JCT has come to an end. After I unload in Mira Loma tomorrow should be getting a load back towards Sapulpa to turn the truck in. I applied to graduate schools last fall and got accepted but then came the finances of paying for it all, I did not have enough so put it on the back burner for a while. Then this past week got notice that I got a scholarship and grant that covers 80% of my costs so I decided to jump ship and start this summer. Looking forward to getting out of trucking and back into the business world. So I have just a few weeks to get home and pack up my belongings and move to another state and find housing.

Just want to thank everyone on here for the help you provided. It made the journey a little easier. I enjoyed my time here at JCT for the most part. Good Luck to all.

Talked to another JCT driver here at the Loves in Kingman. He is one of two drivers testing a 2014 Pete. According to him, he is averaging 7 to 7.5 mpg running 68. Guess JCT is testing a new setup.

I passed that Pete in AZ this morning and probably passed you also. The Pete looked pretty sweet, I am at the Flying J in Barstow now.

Hey guys I've got some questions I've been doing a lot of research on different lease deals but I haven't been able to find one that sounds good enough to take the risk... Until I started looking into JCT it almost sounds too good to be true lol, what am I missing? Here's where I'm at, I'm 24 I have been driving for 6 months I know it's not long but my father has been a truck driver since he was my age and this has been somthing I've wanted to do since I was very young. I have hardly any bills I pretty much stay on the road because I love it, and at this time in my life without any huge responsibility I feel like making the most of it. No kids no wife just the way I like it :)
i checked the website out and I am in there hiring area in Florida, so that's good
and I will be contacting a recruiter for further info, but I was hoping to get some info from yall

1.with 6 months OTR, is that enough? (I'm really hoping it is)
2.what trucks can you pick between? I saw on there site they have the 660 KW I'm in love with those trucks, so how many different trucks could I chose between?
    3.down payment?
    4.is there a rider policy?

ill save the rest for a recruiter I'd really appreciate any responses as I'm anxious to hear some good news. Jct sounds very good and it sounds like it would work perfect for me and what I want.
    Thanks guys

I think 6 months is enough ....I have seen folks with 3 months....kw's are few and far between...but sometimes u will see one or two there...but they are high mileage...mostly freightliner cascadia's....no downpayment....and yes you are allowed riders...

    T_TRUCKER• Thanks this.

Remember all recruiters are payed to get you in orientation... they will tell you anything to get you there ...my two cents
