Running with JCT, Part Deux

I live right outside of Orlando which is central

 

Take a drive down 27 to florida natural and count the jct trailers in the drop yard.

 

I was told tons of freight goes to Alabama when I was being recruited....still haven't got a load to Alabama since I have been here...when I wanna go home I have to deadhead 280+ miles on my dollar

 

Thats messed up. Ive delivered and picked up in bama. Been through it a bunch and swapped a load going to bama to get a driver home.

 

I pick up in Alabama but that's it...when I wanna go home I have to argue with them and its late every time...I have to deadhead from west Memphis to home because that's where they will finally get me a swap at...

 

Not getting into the late part but "argue" to go home? Who are you arguing with?

 

Dispatcher....I put in for time off 2 -3 weeks in advance and when it comes time he always acts like he didn't know...even though I never delete the message he sends back after I put in for home time..."home time noted"

 

Gotya. Sounds like a little face time might be in order.

 

About the hometime thing. The DM always knows when it is because anytime they pull up your truck there is highlighted box that gives hometimw dates. So your DM is an idiot.

 

Well, ####!!!! Cruising down 40 and the check engine light followed by stop engine light come on. Pull into rest area 2 miles east of Meteor Crater Red and both lights clear. Now showing Fault 1 545 232 1705 Fail 31.
