Running with JCT, Part Deux

Well another preplan cancelled. Looks like $20 down the drain at the TA Ontario West for parking till tomorrow. It really sucks coming to LA because have to wait at least 24 hrs between preplans.

 

Oh, don't get me wrong. JCT has their issues. Fortunately they usually don't apply to me. They are far from perfect, but after nearly 5 years here, they know me well and I them. I definitely enjoy being here but would love to see some changes in different areas.

Has anybody ever walked across the overpass from the TA/Petro in Ontario to the restaurants or mall? Is there a sidewalk? Need to get out of truck if can walk over there.

 

No clue, I never park at TA when I'm in LA.

I like the mom & pop stops that don't charge to park. It's pretty easy to snag a spot before dusk. After that, good luck.

 

Dont want to move now. Been here since 8 am. I left twice after 2 hrs so didnt have to pay and got new ticket so didnt have to pay. Gave up after not getting preplan and about out of hours.

 

You are forgeting that JCT pays your fuel tax also. That is where your fuel discount goes.

 

diabello ... Yes, sidewalk all the way over. There are some fast food and
sit down inside the mall. There is also several nice places on the street
behind the mall (4th street I think). Might as well, you've spent $20 already.

 

Make a $20 purchase, leave in the morning, pull back in, and get a refund.
