Mine was $275 at the shop for a 39x80. Paid a little more, but I didn't have to go to the hassle of getting routed to Junction City.

    Thanks, though! :)

If anybody delivers to SeaBreeze Foods in Jacksonville, FL. Parking sucks. Narrow two lane road and back in off the street. There is also a truck wash around the corner from them on Edgewood Ave N. and they charge $30 for washout.

So there I was, sitting at the truck stop in Ontario with 3 hours until my 34 hour reset kicked over when I got the call... my load was canceled.

Oh, but not to worry! There's a preloaded trailer at the yard that's been there since the previous morning! <.<

They assign that trailer to me, and I clear it with them to finish my 34 hour reset since it was so close and there was no delivery appointment set. All's gravy, right?

I pick up the trailer with a fresh 70 (well, 69.50 if you want to be technical) and head back east. Then I get a message over the QC with my delivery time... early AM in two days (roughly 30 hours). I still had 1300 miles (and some change) to drive. No way am I covering that solo, so I sent a macro 1 & free form message stating my ETA so they could get a repower on it. A solo driver with a fresh clock would have made it with a few hours to spare.

They sent me a team that had an incredibly light (15k pounds) trailer headed to the WalMart distro center in Sparks due the same day as my load, but later in the day.

Here I am, sitting on the load near the receiver with a day to kill because WalMart won't unload early.

Time to hit the casino and lose a paycheck.

They sent me a load that was supposed to be picked up this past Friday. Going to Arlington,TX for 0200 on Wednesday. Because I will be very low on driving hours when I get done here, I got me a space resevered at the TA west of Jacksonville. Called my DM and told him what the customer told me about late pickup and also told him that I should be good to make on time, but I will need a reset because I am going to have to burn every minute I got to make on time.

Watch out for wild horses when delivering in sparks. And thats not a joke. I saw em and was nearly driving through them.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try to keep my hands off my new toy while I'm driving around the area.

I've never had a Connex before. It's no Galaxy DX99, but it's still a nice little radio.
