That's news to me last I heard they still had some dynosys and then a few gogreen apu units. But if they are going to carrier that is good they ain't that bad but make sure you go into a carrier dealer and pick up a few inline fuel filters cause 99% of the truckstops don't carry them and they should be changed at service. I used to have a Carrier unit and it lasted about 4500 hrs before the generator died on it. (Little useless info.... they weigh almost 75 lbs and cost 1600 bucks to replace.... bad news is when they go out all you have then is a 550 lb box of weight hanging on your frame rail.)

I was chatting with Delbert about the switch. It came uu because I had been told my truck was too old to get an apu. I had a friendly sitdown fully prepared to figure out an approved solution to getting ac. I can handle quite a bit of heat but my last run into cali and back through texas did me in. 6 straight days over 100 degrees and only one night under 80.

    The wait was worth it!

Picking up in Salinas, dropping in Indy. 2300 miles with 4 days to do it. I could be there a lot quicker, but I'm tired of rushing from A to B just to sit forever and a day & start my clock just shy of a reset, so I'm going to start rolling 8 hours a day and averaging 8.75 hours/day with driving/on-duty time so I don't have to worry too much about resets.

Well, that's the working theory anyway. We'll see how it pans out.

Think you will have to wait to try that theory. 2300 miles in 4 days means you will have to run 625 a day. Plus you will lose a hour because of Indy being EDT. If you try to run only 8 that will leave you about 300 miles short in 4 days.

He is going to lose 3 hours going from Cali to Indy. It is 34 hours drive time to go from Salinas, CA to Indy via US-101 to CA-58 to I-40 to I-44 to I-70.

On the variable lease does the $120 come off the total or is it interest?
