So going along with the previous comments about lazy, uncaring drivers.....coming off some time off this morning, get a load out of Turlock, CA going to NY. Get to the shipper, and find one tire on the preloaded trailer COMPLETELY bald. I mean no tread left whatsoever. It looked like a racing slick. So limped up to Ripon and a few hours later had a few new tires on this old trailer (55xx series).

So yes, thanks lazy driver(s) who had it last...lol.

Probably safe to have the s on the end. It takes a long time to wear the last of the tread off a tire. To go from 2/32 to bald might have taken 10-15k miles. How many drivers had it during that time? At least 5 is a safe bet and probable closer to 10.

If someone mismatched a pair of tires (put a deep tread next to a shallow tread), the shallow tread tire can go bald in a very short time. Could happen in 1000 miles. That's why shops try to mount dual tires with similar tread depths. May not be the case here. Just a little general information.

I found a little gem of an android app. It is called Trucker's Slide-Calc Light (Beta). I was curious about it; so, I downloaded it.

You input your weights and hole spacing (center of hole to center of hole.) And it gives you a suggestion on how many holes to slide and the estimated weight after the move.

While not perfect, it does come close. This would be a good tool for someone learning how to slide their tandems.

I found it works best if you start with tandems either all the way forward or all the way back.

I know you guys in here Have been driving for JCT for a while. I was curious what your weekly average is after all expenses. Also at the end of your lease will your truck still be drivable for another few years. normally lease purchase so frowned on, however I am curious if the JCT lease is truly a good deal in your opinion. Thanks in advance

After everything I am netting about 7 to 8 after I set back for taxes and food and a steak dinner or two on the road ;). of course of that i see about $50 due to wifey paying for the house and my little truck at home and all my pups. As for still driviable after the 5 years I dont see why not as long as you take care of her. My buddy has a 1996 that he had since new and he still rolls the miles.

Now I do have a new question that maybe I can get some answers on. Today when i got my run down on the QC of trips to be paid I noticed that one was missing. Weird cause I sent them both in at the same time and they got one but not both anyway I called and was told to scan them in with Transflo as trip pak was bought out and transflo is taking over. I noticed that more an more of the trip packs are being removed so does that mean we will be paying for scans everytime?

Transflo doesn't cost anything on the mobile app. Would just need company code. But jct may charge you.

Oh one more question. How often do you hit the house for a day or so?
